Academy duo Elliot Scotcher (pictured) and Jack Simmons have been named in the Wales U17 squad for two friendlies against Estonia in Tallin later in the month. The Welsh youngsters take on the Estonians on Monday 16th August and Wednesday 18th August.

Academy midfielder Elliot Scotcher will win his second Wales U17 cap and make his first start this afternoon when his side face Norway in their second game at a friendly tournament in Sweden. Scotcher came on as a 35th minute sub in Tuesday’s 2-1 opening game defeat to Iceland.

New academy recruit Elliot Scotcher has been named in the Wales U17 squad for a friendly tournament in Sweden later this month. Scotcher, who was formerly with Cardiff City, starts his two-year scholarship with the Blues later this month.
